Main Character

This is what i've done for the main character of my game -

Kinda small.. But cool and cute.. But what background are you using(environment), RTP or yours?

Hmm well for a sprite of that size theres not much wrong with it. I suggest lighting up the outline of the red jacket and actually adding more contrast and shape to the hair. Reference Tana's tutorials in the tutorial section, it should help alot. Right now the hair looks like a yellow blob.
