Magical 8Bit - A dream come true for Composers

Hey,

I just found a wonderful new VST-Plugin for composers: Magical 8Bit! It let's you reproduce the sound you hear on the classic NES console.

If it's gonna be useful for your music projects, i don't know but i think it's certainly a very fun plugin to play around with. I just played with it for 2 hours straight.

This is very cool. I feel the urge to make some kind of mario game now.

Haha, yeah! You could implent a mini game in your RMXP game. Just put a NES Console in your hero's house.. turn it on in the game.. and play a small mario game in RMXP!

But i think it would be hard to implent a side-scrolling system in RMXP..

uhh I did..It doesnt have anything to open besides samples and the Read-me file

I just downloaded it and there are two midi samples, a .dll (the plugin), and the readme. Try downloading it again or something.

oh shit son

i've been using tweakbench's triforce along with quadraSID for all my oldschool chiptune needs, but this seems pretty snazzy! more flexible than triforce, at least. awesome find imo
