Magic Card Icons

These are card icons I made for a game I am making. They are elemental magic cards and restorative cards. In the game the cards are consumable items used to expand what magic the characters have to use in battle. Any thoughts on improving them would be apriciated.

I was expecting Magic: The Gathering for a moment there.

These are neat too conceptualy, though I think you could do a little more than just color swaps with them

For my purposes, I really only needed a color swap, but I see what you are saying. I'll play around with different designs and see what I can com up with.

Well, my first idea was not to have an earth element in my game, but I haven't made a final desition. I'd have to either use brown for earth or change the heal card color and use green.

Well simple is good, it means that there's less to take in, and the viewer isn't stressing to see some stupid little detail. I think an Earth one would be good, and typically brown IS used for Earth.

I love how some people have said 'great! I'm so using these!'

This isn't the forum for posting material to share with the community, it's for analysis of his existing work for -his- purposes. So, unless he's stated 'feel free to use them' then I'd think it would be a matter of common courtesy to -not- use them in your game, seeing as they're his personal works for his purpose.

As for the cards, they do seem a little simplistic...perhaps a symbol of the element on a few of them to make them a little more varied?
