Lost Season 3 (Spoilers)

Well, now that Lost Season 3 has come to a close with its astounding finale, I wanted to look for fellow Lost fans so I can actually speak to someone about it :P

I just saw the finale about 15 minutes ago, and it is probably one of the best episodes thus far. Funnily enough, the episode ran about the length of a feature film (around 120 mins).

So, whats your overall view of Season 3 and its finale?

They make it pretty clear that Jack lives and gets off the island. That makes me sad.

Good thing I totally don't care about this show, but do put important plot points in spoilers in the future - Andy

You really should put that in a spoiler. Some people may get annoyed as it could be ruined for them ;)

Well, there is a lot more to come. And its easy to predict that Jack and everyone else, or most of them will return to the island, heck some of them might not have even left. There was a huge chunk missing after the death of Charlie (I almost cried) and when they made communications with the boat. Can't wait until next year for season 4!

Loved it. I predict Season 4 will be about getting off the island. Widmore telling people to keep the fake plane crash conspiracy secret for the people who wanted off the island, expect some wanted to stay. Not sure Saiyd would want off the island, but since he wants to look for Nadia. Whoever is in that coffin. I believe it's Micheal. No wonder why Walt is on the island, helping John. The new enemy is part of Noami. Noami had to get to the island sent by Widmore to know if Desmond was alive. Widmore then knew how to to get the island and use it for pure evil of it's powers. Well we shall see.

I nearly screamed at the TV when I saw locke get up. There is no way in hell he could have survived that kind of gun shot. Recently I have been thinking he is a bit of a controversial character, who is breaking off from the survivors but not exactly joining the others. (Think the french lady, cant spell her name).

You actually had to feel kinda bad for Ben (despite the fact he is a manipulative bastard), after seeing what had happened to him. What I dont understand is why he is afraid of the survivors leaving the island.

I expect the gang is going to get off the island by season 5 or six. Dont say that they will be off the island by season four, because then that will be the end of lost as we know it.

If anyone is willing to make a (decent) game based off of lost, I would play it.

They got off the island in the last episode. You found out at the end, the "flashback" was actually after Jack got off the island, you can tell when you see Kate.

Since Season 2 had a new character open up,
as well as Season 3. I believe Season 4 will open up
at Noami's ship.

Jack and Kate now are garunteed to live the rest of the series -If the future we saw cannot be changed by any of Locke's actions, and perhaps Ben is not as bad as we thought. Each finale leaves me at an emotional spike in the series.

I love LOST. We still have many questions opened up. More than the answers: Why is The Looking Glass a secret even from Ben's People? Why is Ben so secretive? Who is Jacob? What is the Monster? What are the whispers? Why was the plane found with no survivors? Why is the island so special? If Penny doesn't know about Naomi's ship, then who is she really? I look forward to season 4. I can tell you that the series may not end the way we expect, and most likely they will not get off the island (If at all) by the end of the final season.

AND WHY IN THE WORLD DID CHARLIE HAVE TO DIE?!

What do you guys think the probability of Charlie still being alive is?

I gotta say, it's my biggest concern.

Oh, and you all probably know, by I thought I'd point out the clues in the last episode that Jack was having a flash forward:

1) Jack was using a Crzr phone which didn't emerge until 2006.
2) The funeral home was named Hoffs/Drawlar, which is an anagram for Flash Forward.

If anyone else knows of any "Easter Eggs," let me know.

He was reading a 2006 newspaper, too - I wouldn't call it an Easter Egg.

I just watched the finale, and I'm actually kind of pissed.

We know 100% that there are 4 more seasons left, so it's pretty much a given that the "future" will continue to play out in flash-forwards, and that the castaways will be on the island for quite a while longer.

However, if the flash-forwards are actual indications of how the story really ends up, I'm just plain pissed. Sorry, doesn't work for me.

I call bullshit. That future will never actually occur. Especially since in the flash-forwards, Jack's father is still alive. I don't buy that Jack was just too out of it to remember he was dead, so unless they bring him back to life or reveal he never died, it's difficult to know what to think.

But yeah, that finale was shocking in a really bad way.

There's no place like home, there's no place like home. Remember, they are not in a dream, they are not in the matrix, nor dead. Here's what i think, Ben will finally convince Jack to click off the call from Noami's ship who are really the bad guys. Then all of a sudden, the radio tower explodes, it appears Locke has gone bomb-bastic again. I believe the eye opener for season 4 would be either Penny, someone from Noami's ship, Kate in a flash-forward or Micheal.

Prexus, the producers have stated that the survivors are absolutely not in another time period or alternate universe. Desmond may have time travelled, but that's beside the point. Everything on that site is speculation.

The producers also stated that Charlie is dead, and isn't coming back, even though the way he died was stupid (Why didn't he run out and swim out through the moon pool? Hell, with the speed the water would have been filling the place, he could have gone and gotten the scuba gear. He COULD have swam out the porthole. In my opinion, Charlie intentionally committed suicide.)

I REALLY think that the flash-forward is an alternate timeline where they get rescued by Naomi's ship, but I don't think they actually will.

I dunno, maybe my perspective is different since I watched the entire series in a month and a half, without ever having seen a single episode previously.

Just remember that there are 48 more seasons left. They won't get rescued in season 4.

Charlies not returning as a major character because hes not been hired for the fourth season. Walt is returning though. Which means we'll find out what hes on about ^_^

Micheal will be back as well, since we have to find what happened to him. He has to come up to redeem himself.
But it all depends on the flash-forward. Because he might be the one in the coffin,
