Anyway, on to my request.
Recently I got RMXP and I have an idea for a game I would like to make. However, I don't know where I can find a battle system similar to what I would like to make. What I'm hoping to make is a game similar to the game The Shining Force:A Legacy of Great Intention which was released for the SEGA Genesis. The system is a Tactical Battle System. Another relation would be for the Fire Emblem series, but I don't want the whole level thing where it's just the fights and cut-scenes.
So, if anybody knows where I can find one of these, I would greatly appreciate it. I'm still new to RMXP and I don't know Ruby to save my life (though I'm working on learning it so I can code things myself) so if I can get something to learn from it would be fantastic.
