Once upon a time when I was like 13, I wrote a long story called "Jox's Heroes". My, what a horrible name and story it was! When I was about to kill it, my best friend told me "NO! Let's revive it into something more!" So for many years we had a story based on Greek Mythology with the same characters and villains. As I grew older, I became wiser and learned many things. So I told her we're going to start from scratch all over again - this was about a couple of months ago. So we did.
This is what we got. :3

BACKGROUND
In ancient times, when the gods walked the earth, their power was shared by everyone equally. Yet, some people decided to abuse their "magic" for their own personal gain. Worried that this "magic" would get out of hand, the gods sealed their powers in away deep in the Earth into tiny rocks. They each kept a fraction of their power and petrified themselves so no could bother them for the "magic" again.
The God's Domains and the Etherstones
Basically, when the stones are resurfaced, they are the god's sealed power from way back when. They come in various colors and are absorbed into a character's body when one comes in contact with whoever has the potential to use them. Everyone that has absorbed and Etherstone starts out with a weak and often useless power. Over time, as the character kills more demons, the Etherstones glow and they learn more magical abilities.
PLOT
Welcome to Jox, a sunny resort area near the ocean! Like most towns it has its history, and secrets. The supernatural are drawn to small city, rapidly increasing with each passing day. While most people are not aware of the changes happening around them, some are. Mysterious rocks are dug up by archeologists and placed on display in the Jox Museum, named "Etherstones:. What's worse is that demons have begun to attack the town and its inhabitants.
Here are the events so far:
-Nelly wakes up from a black out on the side of the road on her 14th birthday and assumes Stacy took over her body. She goes home and gets ready for school with her older sister, Illenia.
-Meanwhile, Zander is at home also getting ready for school. He steals someone's bike and starts riding to school.
-There is a brief crossover as Zander rides by Nelly and Illenia walking to school with their new neighbor, Jewel
-Zander nearly runs over a homeless bum (later known as Grizzle) and is hit by a truck. His leg suffers some damage
-At school, the Ashtear sisters split and Illenia goes to Science with Jewel where they meet two boys: Cian and Zync
-During lunchtime, Cian mistakes Nelly as Helena - his childhood friend. While Nelly tells him that's not the case, she agrees to help him find her as she may be a distant relative
-During the final hour of class, Zander is found unconscious outside, and Nelly's class watches as he is sent to the hospital
-At home, Dario physically assaults Nelly for not coming home last night, despite her saying that it was Stacy's fault
-Nelly later then goes to her TnT (a parody of D and D) session as usually and meets Zander formally - who's mysteriously out of the hospital
-Meanwhile... Illenia, Jewel, Zync, and Cian are at Pizza Castle getting to know each other
-Over the intercom, it is told that a creature is outside attacking the city
IDEAS
-Cian will start as a wuss until he learns his older brother Conan (who caused him to be a wuss) is a demon and has killed their parents. Cian will then kill his brother, growing to become a much braver and cold-hearted young man

In her free time she goes to TnT sessions with her friends or plays video games at home. She also has a set schedule for fencing - a sport she finds fun do to the swordplay involved. She always tries to butt her way into Illenia�€™s group of friends, even though she�€™s much too young to be hanging out with them.
Because of her young age, not much as happened to Nelly in her short lifespan. Most of the things that did happened her she�€™d rather not mention, as it further fuels her hatred towards her father and fills her heart with sorrow.

Like Nelly, Zander also plays TnT and video games, but not as much so his bully friends don�€™t notice what he�€™s doing. He lives with the school janitor, and often assists him with his job. Zander enjoys cooking, something he keeps to himself.
His mother, Stacey, had him when she was about 16 and when she turned 18, she became a stripper trying to take care of her son. She kicked Zander out of the house when he turned 16 himself, in order to become an internet porn star and sleep with various men. Zander wandered around aimlessly, eventually settling to live at the school during the summer - until the janitor found him.

Illenia is a master of computers and she can create very useful inventions for the team. Her other favorite pastime is reading, and one will mostly see her nose buried beneath a good novel.
The only thing Illenia remembers is waking up in a hospital bed at the age of 15. She wandered around town until she was found by a mysterious woman named Laura who helped her get back on her feet. She aided Illenia into finding her family and sent her home while still keeping in contact with her.

Cian's busy schedule includes track meets, high school band practice, and drumming for the band �€œGravitation�€�. When he does have free time, one can usually find him hanging around Illenia trying to desperately get her attention or reading super hero comic books.
When his and his family first moved to Jox from Ireland, he had met a young girl named Helena that he became best friends with. But one night he woke up in a plane back to his homeland with no recollection of the night before with some new physical features. A student transfer program to Jox gives him the chance to head back and find his long lost childhood friend.
