Little Big Planet

Basically, this game is one big 2d platformer where people create their own levels by going through other user's levels and developers levels to get the materials to create their own. Then, they can easily upload their level in-game to a easily accessible "planet" where you can see other people's levels as well.
What do you guys think? I honestly think this is going to be the greatest game of all time, and a killer app for the ps3 but I want to hear your opinions.

How in any way is it anything even a little bit like spore?

Space themed, user-generated content/world, and a database, of sorts, for other's work.

I doubt they will play the same, but they sound kind of similar on paper at least.

Spore is a life simulator, from the ground up.
Little Big Planet is cute little "sack-boys" running around making 2d levels.
Maybe I'm just being an asshole, but I don't see the resemblance.

I honestly don't see the similarities between the two other than the level editing and stuff, I really wanted to play this game....but I don't have a PS3...>_>
Is there a chance that this will pop up on the PC? (doubt it)

Hmm, this looks really fun and innovative.  I really don't see it having really long-lasting fun though...I'm glad to see something unique for a change on the PS3 though.  It shows a step forward.

Right about the time Halo comes to the Wii, and MGS4 comes to the 360 :P
