Little Big Planet is a game being released exclusively for the PS3, It's release date has been said to be somewhere around September 08.
What it is, is a game, that allows you to create your own levels, share them online, and play them with friends. This game looks very promising, and puts great use of the PS3's six-axis controller.
Creating levels is very simple and customizable, it's as simple as opening a menu, choosing what you wish to place, and dropping it, but not only environments can be made, if for example, you got four cogs, put them on the ground, but a block on top of them, and maybe a long one to the side, hey presto, you've made a tank, and you could even create a ramp for it to run down while you and your friends are on top of it bitch-slapping each other off !
For customization, you can, for example, get an orange, or even your best friend, and put stickers all over them, give them a whole new face with eyes and lips stickers. The best thing about these stickers is that you can upload images from your PS3's hard drive and use them as well.

Take a look at the videos provided and write what you think, myself, I think this game is going to be amazing, the physics are awesome, and it should attract more customers over to the PS3 system.
You can tell this game won't get old for a long time as people will always be wanting to make more wacky levels and experiment with things !

in a good way. it's a quirky game, and looks really inventive and creative... plus nobody doesn't like customizing every little aspect of their game =D

This is the only game that's ever made me wish I owned a PS3. The creativty within the whole game design is inspiring. It looks like a great game, I could see myself spending hours in multiplayer.

This may be one of the games that forces me to get a PS3. That, and MGS. This just looks incredible, and fun as hell :D

Hmmmm... personally I look at the rating and and look at the trailer (and test the game if I can) before I buy a game, hey gaming is just A PART of my life :D.

I don't care for that style of game play, don't get me wrong I love the concept, but It's just not my style of game, I'm currently waiting for HAZE and Crysis

first of all Crysis isnt coming to ps3. EA says its not atm. And 2nd ... MGS sucks :p and lastly hopefull those playstion network cards are out by the time this game comes out cause i want it so badly T.T

MSG does suck =( Putting it in my chinese food, sheesh...

Yeah, like EA is known for telling the truth. That's their "official" stance, however many PS3 publications have received strong indications it is indeed being ported. Remember, this is EA we're talking about. If it makes money - even if the port is god-awfully bugged and they release numerous patches that only further break the game (like how they did for Battlefield 2 for example; who could ever forget the paradropped tanks?) - they'll release it. They don't have the same strict ethics that companies like Square-Enix do.

about the EA porting thing, I think EA is just really after the bucks, well can't blame 'em they have to live and have families to feed. and another reason to hate EA
