Link Charaset by Maj

For a few months, I've been pretty bitter and anal about people using my work but I decided to share some of my work with the community. For everyone's clarification, I did not copy anyone's work while doing this or edit some one else's sprite. The only thing I referenced was the design of Link's shield in Twilight Princess. What started as a very simple design was constantly edited and eventually the last thing I did was add a more realistic look to the hair. If you use, please give credit. It took me a long time to get this to the way I wanted.

I know the legs are a bit weird but it looks good for my running engine in my game. Any comments?

Hey I think it looks good, especially the sides. The front looks a-little snobby. His face is sorta turned up, try moving the eyes to look down a bit. Otherwise great job.

I'd move the eyes down but it wouldn't look right and wouldn't match the alignment with the side sprites. Believe me, I've already checked it out and he didn't look right at all.

The screens look great, I wish I could sprite like that. What if you tilt the whole head down getting rid of the showing neck?

wow the look good...the way the chars are and the tilsets makes it blend like a 3d game...

@Noliander: I'll make a whole new edit tilting the head down for you but I won't neccesarily make it the official design of the game if I don't like it but if you wish, it can be yours to use.

@xinrua: Haha, thanks! I tend to picture the sprite in a 3D environment and simplify it making it a 2D sprite.

Well I am putting together a team, and I definately need custom sprites, but I don't know what I would do with Link.
Just giving a little critisism(???), trying to offer helpful suggestions. Whoa I like the darker blue color alot. Have you done red yet?

You planning on sticking Zora and Goron Link in it (no need to spoil anything.) Is the game ABS I assume so. I have always wanted Link to become Final Fantasy like

No Goron suit but I have approximately 5 other suit changes which apparently I have already drawn for Link. I just won't be posting them for a long time

It's a cartoonish look...and pluss if it had an outline say good by to it's 3dish style...

I think its cool but....it's feet....I have to agree...sorry...

I forgot to mention that there are two walking styles for each set. Link's casual set is more relaxed and his equipped set looks more battle ready. I was never good with moving legs

I think you did a good job on this, although i like sprites with outlines better, i think you pulled this off well. As others have mentioned the front view looks a bit odd, but when i tried to fix it up in Gimp it looked even weirder so good job on this.
