it's been a while and I've been busy and blablabla... nothing you guys care about.
So I started a little lineart collection and I thought, why not post it here before uploading it to my website.

The lower eyelid looks a lot like a nose, and I think you should be able to see a dark blob of the axe through his head (since you can see the back of its base)
 
WHAT, if I told you the upper half is less opaque than the lower half..
AND maybe, it's been a nose all along instead of an eyelid!

As for your sprites in general, I actually think these are all far weaker than other stuff I've seen from you. I don't know why, but I'm sure you can do better than this. The thumbs up sprite for me doesn't have enough contrast or any blending of different colours to make it stand out. The same problem applies to the ball sprite you've done, except the highlighted brightness which curiously enough has too much contrast. Your character sprite of the yeti-thing has this same problem as well, You've over dithered and have too little contrast or colour changes between the sprites to make it standout. For me, this makes it appear almost pillow-shaded.

Your dithering on the ball is also rather messy and not done well. It looks more like random dots than a steady progression. For dithering there is are specific patterns you have to follow to get the best result.

Overall I'm kinda disappointed. From the other stuff I've seen from you, this almost feels like a lazy effort? When teaching pixel art, you should be showcasing your best stuff.
 
Hey thanks for the honest opinion, I appreciate it. I just uploaded them as examples, and I think people can still learn a lot from them. But these tutorials have been made over a year ago. They were part of my graduation paper *subject=art* on pixelart. :)

Well, i can see that slimes are good weapon racks...
... The style is great, and even on the Lineart version it reminds me a bit of the Gameboy when it had the low-colors, pretty good.
 
I really like the work you have done here. I have only just begun working on line art, and I hope I will be able to do what you have done here. :)

Damn I went a bit overboard with the dithering, it looks too realistic, which doesn't suit my style.
I'll probably get back on this in a while.
