Again, interesting idea but...I don't call it an OS when you use Windows' button and loading bar. An operating system...typically manages the hardware's ressource for personnal use. Correct me if I'm wrong, but this looks more like an application that simulates some interface. Operating systems are an extremely complex field of C.S. Are you sure of what you are doing?

All of them have been paused so I can start the API and Finish LC OS.exe file.
And then Programs can be developed with it and .net framework.
The Windows Controls are there because the API and controls are not done.
This will be adapted thought to modify the boot-loader to run an actual OS that will be adapted from this project, although that will make the WINDOWS/DOS Mode Unavailable.
The Program Version will be for people who are stubborn to CHANGE OS's or Have DUEL BOOT.

I tried something like this before - it proved utterly pointless.
It might seem like a 'cool' idea in your head, and it might be really, I don't know, but there will be no point. :\

It's probably only for eye-candy. And if in that case, you can probably just make a windows theme with ResHack, or something. But if there's something you see in this, that I don't, besides it being "awesome" (not much of an argument) you can keep going, I guess.

Um...eye-candy? An operating system has no such thing as eye-candy. As I've said before, an operating system is a bazillion lines of codes that sends data throughout the hardware (processor, memory, etc) so that programs can run on it. Stuff like Windows Explorer, .Net framework...it's just some extras that allows ease of use for the general public, or libraries for programmers to make Windows apps conveniently. I may be wrong, but I'm less and less convinced you've done any actual research on this.

That's not what I mean. I'm just guessing lionels making this for eye-candy.
I know what's behind an OS. But he's not doing any of that. He's using the windows environment, and running a program inside of it.

There was a time when i thought something like this would be cool, in time you'll understand that it will be pretty meh.

The only time something like this is good is inside a game, the HL mod Half-Life: Arrangement has an in-game OS where the player has to find passwords, documents, photos and more, that is the only time when it's a cool idea, a system shell running over a system shell is not appealing, but it's good practise for programming, so I'd support this if you're learning something from it, but there is no situation when anyone would use it.

You May Notice A New Topic Called Fractal.
LC OS Has Been Renamed to Fractal.
Fractal is not a virtual OS, it is a real one.
AKA. Bootloader->Kernel
