keyboard and conditions

So I was wondering.. I know nothing of scripting and I really need help for two things...

I got this script from a site.. I got everything covered.. but I need it to only run when a switch is on..
can someone please explain this to a noob? haha..

the other problem.. .. I wanna find a keyboard script.. I found one but when I put it into the game I get errors.. and I found another one.. that I didnt even put it in the game cause I didnt get how to do it.. so I need a keyboard script that when you press a button once the action thats supposed to happen will only happen once... if someone can find one that works and explain how to set it up I would greatly apriciate it :P
