Katana Icon

Somone wanted a katana icon...? Made this in like 3 Secs, probably shows it too but still.

the only crit i have about the katanas is that in both of your katanas there is hand guard that is big and square... katanas have small round hand guards and longish handles :D great work though

i could say its got flaw, but they are minor.. it looks sweet :D
the only thing is that the handle would be thivker... but its nothing :D

No, the handle is okay, in thickness, it's just too short compared to the blade. The Tsuba is to small, it's hardly noticeable, which'd make it a Shirasaya and not a Katana. Also, the blade looks too thick, but I don't think it's possible to get a better result without loosing the shape...

PS: I was the one requested a Katana icon :D Well, semi-requested, as my game doesn't uses icons...

PPS: I have a Iaito (training Katana, slightly heavier) and a Ninjato (also a training blade, but just to point out it's not a Katana-like Iaito :P ) over here... if real blades wouldn't be illegal in here, I'd store them in my house like I do with food :P

PPPS: Shirasaya rule! :D

Well, a Ninjato is basically a (though not limited to) a straight and shorter blade, a square tsuba, and a longer Saya than the blade is actually long.

It doesn't curve as much as a katana does, but it still looks cool.
