At first, I'd never thought we would ever get a PS3, considering how much the system costs and the prices of the games. However, just last night, my older brother came over with my sister in-law. He set down a target bag and went to his car to grab his other bags. I payed no attention to the target bag whatsoever, because I thought it was just some speakers or something since my brother likes to buy speakers for his car.
While in the middle of a match in Smash Bros. Melee againts my little brother, my sister in-law just blurted out that my older brother bought a PS3 for $200. I turned around and looked in the target bag and to my surprise, a 40GB PS3 was in it! I asked them how they got it for $200 because I heard from my friend (My sister in-law's cousin) that they also got one for $200 recently. She told me that my brother got it with a discount at the same place my friend got theirs. It seems they know a person who works over at Target so that's how they got their PS3's for only $200.
Anyone else fortunate enough have something like this happen? I kind of wished my older brother got the 60GB model since I heard the 40GB had it's PS2 backwards compatibility completely removed.
