Juan's Music Workshop

I'm working on a lot of music stuff, so I'll probably be posting various submissions the next few days. I've got to finish the songs I had originally planned for Medina Stories. Additionally, I'm making new songs for Brain Zap. These are two completely different styles.

you have fast fingers

the timing is pretty good, can't comment much on the dynamics of the first part, because of the pedal. try to oil it a bit ;D
i like the intermezzo at 1:03 though. you've got some solid skill.

what did you use to record? there isn't a lot of noise its just that the pedal is a bit cranky?
i'd try to fix it or try to avoid it at all costs, it isn't a chill thing to listen to.

i'd also say that your arrangement is okay, but for an all-piano piece it's a bit repetitive
REALLY not bad but you seem to be someone who knows about piano playing

as a piece it doesn't really interest me b/c of the upbeat repetitive keybashing, i love pieces that have a lot of dynamics
your technique seems to be pretty good, and as a battle background i'd think it's pretty good too, provided that you'd record it again with proper equipment

:D

Actually, I can't take credits for playing it, even though I do have fast fingers. I've been known to play Chopin's Fantasie Impromptu and Liszt's Moment Musicaux No. 4. But I don't have any decent recording equipment, so that's just straight from my computer. But thanks Tomas! I'll take the compliment anyway. And I've been trying to make it sound as natural as possible, with tempo and dynamic changes I would make in real life.

I also like the bridge. It's an upwards transposition of a chromatic scale up to a perfect fourth. I was actually thinking of using the idea for a whole piece.

Also, I'll try to stay away from repetition in future works. Thanks for commenting.

oh so you didn't record this?
that what are those weird noises?

by the way i listened again, and it's not that repetitive, there's a recogniseable motive but its nice to listen to.
its mostly the way you handle your left hand, too much going on for my tastes.

it does give it that hasty feel though, suited for battle themes
