Issue between RMXP and Winamp

Recently I created a separate "admin" user for my computer so I could make my normal user more secure under "limited". Everything was going fine until RMXP claimed it needed to run to the nTitles server. I fixed this through the "Run as" command. This will be fine until I want to just click on the icon again. (Anyone know how to do "Run as - [user] [pass]" straight through a shortcut?)

My problem is that if I start up Winamp while the admin based RMXP is running, it does not load two midi drivers, and switches to it's original default - which can be deafeningly loud as it resets SW Synth sometimes.

My Winamp version is 5.531
The "main" MIDI driver (If you could call it that) I have is "Nullsoft MIDI Player 3.16". (Default Winamp input I believe.)
The two drivers in question are know as "DirectMusic/ Microsoft Synthesiser" and "DirectMusic/ Microsoft Synthesiser (with output)"

The only way to regain these options is to close RMXP and restart Winamp.

My question is one of these two:
1. How can I stop RMXP from temporarily making these options unavaliable?
2. How can I set up the DirectMusic driver's under the admin user?

Thanks for any help in advance. I'm a MIDI freak, considering I had dial-up for such a long time and now I have high-speed internet, but very limited usage before it starts costing a lot.

Right click on your shortcut icon, select Properties, go to the shortcut tab, select Advanced... and check "run with different credentials".  Now when you click the icon you'll be asked to input user info. :)

As to your other problems, go to your Control Panel as Admin, select Sounds and Audio Devices (in classic view, fucked if I remember anything about XP's retarded control panel layout ).  Go to the Audio tab and see what your default midi device is set to.  This might clue you in to part of the problem, if you have no luck with changing that post again and we'll see about finding other solutions.

Thanks for that. Now to see about the other issue.

I couldn't find any MIDI settings I could change (there was only one option), so I thought maybe I change something in Winamp under admin. Started that up, and it had the same settings as my limited user.

So I couldn't change anything? Yet I start the programs up and everything is fine. o_o; Weird.

It should be the third box on the audio tab, if there are no available devices or the box is grayed out you may have a faulty sound driver or some other issue causing windows to not have any recognized midi devices.  There should always be the default windows software midi synth available for selection, even if your sound card doesn't supply a wavetable synth.  I would try installing updated audio drivers and go from there.
