Isometric map design in photoshop

I want to find tutorials about isometric map designs, I wanna make my own rpg xp tilesets and Characters in photoshop, but i wanna know how i will go about doing it in photoshop and putting them in RPG XP anyone got any tuts?

You could always google or search for isometric pixel art tutorials, but your best bet would be to start learning pixel art and getting used to it and such. It's not something you're going to be able to do overnight, it's about getting experience.

I can draw but i dont know how i would put the maps as tilesets and everything, Aswell as i am trying to find out how to go about making them in the first place. Usually art i make is just to look at, not to play on.

well idk about photoshop tileset making, but what i do for my iso tilesets is
1. get a template of a tileset (the file with the 2 colors that go 32x32)
2. make the shapes/outlines of the things i want on the map
3. dunt put them together! so u can use it differently
ex: windows and a wall
- make the windows on a diff spot with nothing surrounding it, then on the wall
- leave the wall blank with nothing on it besides its color
4. shade!

ot much kinda same thing as normal tilesets to me

What you can do is to draw tiles. It's good to draw them isometric but you don't have too for things like flat walls. Scan your picture, open them up in a graphic editing program. If you don't have one, it's either Photoshop or Gimp, I guess. Then, get a isometric grid/template and try to fit your drawings the best you can with shrinking and all.

This tutorial is in french, but just look at the pictures, you'll get the general idea

You can also look at this guy's work, which I guess is about what you are trying to do.

Isometric is pretty much about the angles.
