I don't completely agree with you on this one, Glitch... the thing that bugs me about it is the attitude towards something you want to accomplish - it's either "can it be done?", which usually implies the person didn't take a single minute to think about it, try to figure it out on their own or just look at the base scripts in this case to see if it shows some spots where it can be integrated; or it could be "how am I doing it?", usually meaning the exact opposite: The person took effort in thinking about it, and maybe got to a point where they can't get any further on their own (which might be the very beginning as well, definately). As for the first case, I don't plan to encourage anyone's lazyness and bad habits that'll result in either bargain bin games or genuine indie projects no-one wants to play ten years from now by doing their dirty work.
Now you might say that's logical game design processing, as in asking other people who know their individual areas better. However, I'm yet to see a post of this sort that's longer than two sentences, has any kind of proof that there's been ANY thinking going on before posting, and in this special case, all of that is already confirmed in the first post by the sentence "an idea I had to write down real fast".
But yeah, that's my opinion... sorry for going off-topic (while anything's been resolved by the first reply really...)
