iPhone or iPad

I was wondering how many people here have an iPhone or iPad?

I'm no Apple fan at all, and Ipads in particular are a waste of money imo. (Same goes for other tablets)

I never wanted a tablet or an iPad and always thought they were a waste of money, but my dad got one for my family on Christmas, and I'm hooked. I was surprised at how much I love it but I use my iPad for probably 1-2 hours a day. I'm not an Apple fan but the iPad is super great.

I have both, and I like both. I like the mobility and simplicity of the iPad when a laptop would be inconvenient(traveling, sitting on the easy chair, in bed, etc.).

Instead of an iMac, I got a Vaio.
Instead of an iPad, I got a Kindle Fire.
If I would buy a new generation phone, I would probably go with either a Samsung Galaxy, or a Windows Phone.

Honestly, the amount of money I save not buying Apple products is worth it. For example, the iPad 2 is, at least, $500. The Kindle Fire is barely $200.

I have an Android smartphone (an LG ... something-or-other). But TBH I barely use it. I try to stay as disconnected from everything as humanly possible. I already spend most of my waking life on a computer. That shit doesn't need to follow me during my precious few moments out of the house :/

They're so not dead. Tons of people still use iPods. And besides, I only mentioned them to prove a point. I bought my Zune 120 years ago. Zunes aren't event in production anymore.

I can only use it in my apartment, which is...pointless.

I've played around with the idea of getting an iPad, but really the only thing I'd want it for is to study Kanji and it's not really worth it then. I'll just drop $2 on a whiteboard.
