Internet service recomendation

Can anyone out there recomend a good internet provider for dial-up? I've about had it with plain old bad internet it's driving me crazy and I can't seem to download ANYTHING anymore. I mean I don't mind waiting a while to do it but it keeps getting cut off. #:(

I've tried Netzero and I keep getting kicked off every two hours even without it being idle for "unknown reasons". I just resently tried out Toast today and it goes SO slow and cuts a large download off without it finishing even though the net is still connected. ':|

So are there any good ones or even bad ones I should avoid. Your imput would really help because all my hair is about to be pulled out! :D

I can't afford anything more than I'm paying now. I'm very poor. :( I'm paying 9.95 a month and there really isn't anything around here that doesn't go up to like $40 bucks a month. I'd go back to MSN dial up since I NEVER had problems with them but it's double what I'm paying. *sigh* I just want something that isn't going to kick me off...

Mmmm...unfortunately treggers is right. You may be able to find cheap dial-up services here and there, but as they always say "you get what you pay for". The cheaper types of services do tend to kick you off every once and a while...or stop functioning all together for a period of time.

NetZero used to be free back in the day when they first started out. They started recieving a lot of new customers who took advantage of their 'free plan' but it required one of those annoying banners at the top of your browser that made the viewing screen really, really small. I'm not sure how it is now...but ever since they e-mailed me and said that I was 'using the internet too much', I switched to DSL.

But if you must. Check out Earthlink or PeoplePC. When I had dialup they weren't really bad providers but I think I will still with my DSL for the time being.

EDIT: Stay away...from...AOL

Okay thank you Wings. I orginally had Access4Free which was great because it was actually a fast dial-up since like no one used it. But since no one used it, it went out of business. :P And believe me I'd love to use the fast internets but I'm poor. I gotta get the low end of the stick. *sigh* I think I'll try PeoplePC I've been hearing good things about them.
