I'd like to thank everyone who was kind enough to post in this topic and encourage me to keep going. Also, thank you for comments on how to improve.

I'd also like to thank everyone who thought this project was interesting and was keeping an eye on it.

After much thought, I've decided not to release my game here. I will still be working on it, and you are all welcome to keep in touch with me about it (in private).

Sounds very nice so far, Lunarea. :) But I gotta say: "what is up with those ugly banners?" XD Sorry, just a personal preference. If I were you, I would just use the text without the background, but that's all nitpicky.

Your game sounds very interesting, and I hope to see more on it!

Lunarea! :D

About time you posted a project girl! I don't know what Rye is talking about, I like the banners :P

It's too hard to judge the story just from that, it is very vague. But at least it sounds interesting, and I'm sure that you will make it turn out great.

The screenshot also looks nice. Can't wait to see more.

@Rye:
Yay! The banners are back!
XD

@Ratty524:
Thank you. I will try to get more screenshots in as well as a demo as soon as possible :)

@Anglachel:
I know that the story isn't too detailed, but I'm hoping it's enough to at least spark interest in trying out the demo (which is coming soon!). Thanks :)

XD Aww, now it's too boring! Put them back! Sorry, the banners did catch my eye, but they were a bit busy. I dunno, maybe I am not used to banners like that, or them used effectively ;) Sorry for being indecisive. XD I didn't think you'd actually listen!

I've always found it strange that Lunarea posts extensive helpful responses so frequently, yet doesn't seem to have a project thread herself.

Now that's changed, I think everyone owe some attention to this thread for the countless time the thread starter spent on helpful replies in the past. :>

P.S.
Quintessence gives kudos to Lunarea for many helpful graphical work in the past - I'm sure her talent will shine in this project even more. Expect a fair number of original songs from this project in return. ;)

Hehe yeah I'm surprised, given your long and very informative posts that you don't have too much infomration here. But you've already explained that ;)

Bring back the banners!

@Reives:
Thank you so much for your help and support (even if that reply made me blush!).
Your songs are beautiful and they contribute wonderfully to the mood I try to set for each scene.

@Anglachel:
They're back!

I will think about adding more detail, though it may be in the form of history rather than plot itself (I don't want to blurt out all the plot twists!).

First off, I love the title and I can't wait to see how the meaning will apply to the game. The story looks great, it sounds a bit like a Shakespearean drama is going on behind the scenes and I like that. While the story is looking phenomenal , I think that Asen and Enna sound a little stock, if you know what I mean. The carefree, adventure-loving boy from a small town and his religious childhood sweetheart(And she seems to be a healer too.). Do you see what I mean? Not that they can't be very interesting despite those qualities, as long as you develop them thoroughly. I'm not saying that they're bad either(If I did I'd be a bit of a hypocrite.), just so you know. Good luck with this, Lunarea! :D

Update: Added another screenshot, this time the inside of Asen's home.

@ Luminier:
Thank you and I hope the game lives up to the expectations.
I've purposefully included very minimal information about the characters, as I'd like for people to try the game with as blank of a slate as possible. I will say, though, that neither Asen nor Enna will fit into the stereotypical role or be the stereotypical character expected based on that description.

I'm pondering adding more specific information once the demo is out (in spoilers of course), but I haven't decided yet.

Lovely edits on the interior. Looks quite. . . crispy? ._o No idea why. But very homey indeed.

I am no fan of extensive character info on description either. Having to read about a character's personality upfront always felt a little phony, and took away from being able to feel their personality first-hand.

I know you haven't posted many pictures yet, but I love your mapping style. That tall grass looks really nice too; I haven't seen it before.

Good luck! =)

How did I miss those screenshots?! Honestly, they're beautiful and I'd love to see more(not trying to pressure you, though.;)! I'd love it even more to see those maps in action! I especially love that house! Does Asen's family run a bakery? Because, if not, they gotta watch their carbs! ;) Oh and I wasn't trying to grill you for more character info before, I, too like to experience the character's personality developing first hand! Keep up the amazing work.

This made me salivate. Damn Carbs, I'm a sucker for baked goods. D:

I'm looking forward to this, it's coming along nicely. :D

Update: I've changed Rose's sprite to be more suitable to her name and personality.
Also, included one screenshot of the message system.

@Reives:
Thank you! I tried to make the map look cohesive and the furniture match.

@ImmuneEntity:
Thanks! It'd be pretty embarrassing if the mapping sucked, seeing how I've given my share of advice at the mapping improvement thread. I hope you find the rest of the mapping up to par.

@Luminier:
Yes, indeed. Asen's home doubles as the local bakery. In fact, most of the homes in the town are multi-functional.
I'll include a few more screenshots of other areas as I put the finishing touches on them.

@Atnas & Zammysoul:
Thanks! I'll make sure to release the demo ASAP. :)

That "face set"(for lack of a better term.) used in the screen shot is adorable! Did you make those, or do you have an artist, or perhaps you just stumbled across them? At any rate, it's very cute.
