In our vast universe... it is only the natural way of things that all eventually should perish to be reborn from the beginning.

Given room to stagnate and expand, monstrously dangerous cosmic apoptosis would surely spread, if you believe the word of the Gods.

This cyclic destruction was too taxing for the immortal, they sought to escape the confines of time's end itself...

And there now lies a Clash on the horizon, fated to re-write the very rules of existence.

But in this upcoming coup of Aspects and Gods, immortals and mortals, and much more-- where do those stand who have naught to lose and everything to gain?

Those who would gain the greatest power of all, the power to change... everything.

Intelligence will set you free.

Intelligence is an RPG-style colorful cartoonish epic with bunches of charm and a lot of heart.

Mankind's dominance of Earth had been a sturdy absolution in their eyes, but they had become blinded by their idea of power. In the grand scheme of the universe, humans are fickle weak beings whose only strength is in their courage and determination... but those traits alone were naught but laughable in the face of the doomsday they never asked for. In the face of the one they call Maw. The Mayan Calendar which ends on the 21st of December of 2012 was indeed a timer to foretell the arrival of this frigid gaseous apocalypse.

Maw relentlessly attacked mankind, destroying all it had labored to build... it had become clear that this god-sent gift was too powerful for mankind, no one was worthy of opposition. Before mankind could be snuffed forever, an unusual character came to them, cloaked from head to toe, introducing himself only as: The Messenger.

Under the messenger's guidance, humanity was able to flee the frozen terror and escape to another world they would call hope, with only a billion humans remaining... the era of mankind's domination had ended.

But as one dominant species should fall, another shall rise to take its place. The Aspect of Magic chose the human's domesticated pets as the new vassals to which the land would be in servitude. They had their instincts intact, but were no longer savages due to humanity's greatest gift, compassion. They had been given the intelligence as humans had in the blink of an eye. By the time our tale takes place, 90 years have passed since Maw's rampage began.

Maw similarly attacked the new dominant species, but was sealed away by a combined effort, the Frostlord trading in one prison for another.

But a prison is not built to last, and only 30 years after his seal was placed, it would yet again be broken... now it falls to the next generation to deal with the threat sealed away only 30 years before.

And this is where our unlikely heroes enter the fold.

I am reserving this post for future additions, as well as compiling some known issues that I intend to solve down the line.

Known Issues
--As should be obvious, saves from older versions of the game don't have much chance of working in new zones like the remastered necropolis and others.
--Some of the in-game cinematics support the idea that this game was worked on by Bizarre Monkey and Corporation XVI, while this was true at the time, this is no longer the case.
--Some of the battle animations look a bit wonky.
--This game's age will show in places, and events are told differently to how they are portrayed reflectively in future works.
--There is next to no consistency in the art styles, a blatant flaw in my older games. This will be corrected in the future, though how long away that day is I can not hazard to speculate. Suffice it to say 2024 is the very earliest but I imagine it won't be that quick.
--Several of the end battle dialogues are dated, as are a lot of the jokes, this is again, an artefact of a ten year old game's age.
--In Act 2 there is a bit of a "drag" in places, where it feels like the story was padded too much. I apologize but this is not a simple thing to fix, though it is thankfully fairly brief, and getting past it is worth it.
--The game's face display method has a habit of obscuring things happening in the game.
