Plot:
You play as a kid named chris. He has insomnia and hasnt slept in days so he heads to the basement to try to see if he can sleep down there because he couldnt sleep in his room. Since he is so sleep deprived he hallucinates and hears and sees a mouse under his bed that is painting a picture. The mouse and chris have a conversation and he ends up in the picture that the mouse was painting. And the only way to leave the painting and go back to the real world is to help out someone in the painting which is the blob playing the guitar on the stage.
The blobman tells you to help him so he sends you to get help from a very knowledgeable prince named Rin. You head to his town but only someone with a title can speak to him so chris has to do simple tasks around the town to talk to him. Once you talk to him Chris finds out that Rin will help his friend once Chris has helped Rin. Rin tells Chris that if he can get Rin to marry the Wife of King Fat than hed help him.
Chris goes to the town of King Fat and needs to be known around the town to talk to the king first. So he goes through an arena in order to gain some renown. He gets passed the arena and talks to King Fat. King Fat tell Chris that Rin can have his wife since he doesnt care about her anymore. But, Chris has to get rid of a notorious gang that disturbs the town.
Chris gets framed by the gang and gets sent to jail where he meets his cell mate, Scott. Scott is a lanky, tough and ginger kid. Scott and Chris become friends and Scott later introduces Chris to the rest of his crew and they are known as, "Scott and The Boys". So, Chris asks Scott to help escape and they do just that.
Chris makes his way to King Fat past a bunch of security into his fortified home. Chris than tells King Fat that he was set up and that he knows who the real criminals are and he knows how to frame them since Scott and The Boys know every single one of their plans since they were affiliates.
The criminals get caught and Chris realizes something that you find out at the end of the game.
