Inquisitor Barrel and Box Charset

Hey everyone, I use the inquisitors interior tileset for a lot of my mapping, and I got to thinking one day about how the RTP has those crates that you can move (because theye are a charset) and I like putting secret things into places, so I made these barrels from the inquisitors tileset.

Edit-
Here is the finished one.

Please note that The Inquisitor made these, and I merely copied them into a charset.

Hopefully someone who uses his ultimate interior will find these useful.
even if they dont use it, they look good anywhere (even on RTP maps)

I have to disagree about it working with RTP, it's far too dark and the palette is all wrong. However, very useful for anyone using Inq's tilesets, or the interior set zanyzora started (is that still around?).

The small box by itself would be nice. Nice thought.

I agree with ccoa here, it doesn't exactly fit in with the RTP scenary, RTP is made from virtually pure colours, which make it bright and vibrant, and for Inq's it is dulled down and gives it a more realistic effect.

But very nice set ^_^

I will mess with it a little and see if I cant make doublese that look more like the RTP (lighter colors)
I will try more boxes on each other, but I cant go over a certain height of the tile, otherwise it look out of place on a map when it is next to others that are from the map.
I am trying to get better at things like this (pixel art), and actually have many of the RTP Icons in a charset (and my are they useful!)

I will post a lot of them in the future, as soon as I have more.

Kraft, one way to do it would be to recolor it using the palette from the RTP barell or crates.

You'd open up an RTP file with, say, a crate on it. Then using the colour replacer tool you just replace my shades with ones on the RTP (that are most suitable). The RTP uses more colours, so you might have to miss out some of the shades from the RTP when transferring them to mine.

That's how you'd go about it. Keep it up. :)

Kraft, I think you use Photoshop, right? Use the Paintbucket tool with tolerance set to 0 and anti-alias and contiguous unchecked. Then use the eyedropper tool to select the appropriate color from the RTP barrel, and the paintbucket tool to fill all of one color on the barrels with it.

I thought I wrote a tutorial on that. :-/
