Import pop-up not showing.

I've been making some sprites for my game, so I thought today I'd add them into my database. I have a separate folder for Import/Exports.

The problem is: whenever I try to import something the pop-up which allows you to decide transparency settings does not pop up. I've tried right clicking, pressing open, etc., and still no avail. It's quite annoying as you could guess.

My specs (If it matters)

Windows Vista
RMXP (The LEGAL Version)

As far as I recall, Paint saves a single transparent color for GIF images, so it probably does the same for PNG... I dunno though, but yeah... you should get yourself a better program there to edit your graphics. Either way, if the dialog doesn't show because of transparency in your image, you should notice it ingame.

I suggest pre-setting transparencies either way.

Well... Do you have any FREE suggestions for me?

And how do you set the transparency without the pop-up? I know it's not transparent by default because I see the background in game no matter what color it is.

EDIT:: Okay well I found it out. Any paint users, before you do anything go to tools and make sure "Draw Opaque" isn't on. If it is than you'll have to start anew.
