I'm confused -- RM XP, can it work on Vista?

If I make a game with RPG Maker XP, will the game be able to run on computers using Vista?

When I search this, I get a million conflicting answers.

100% possible. I can say, I got some games made with XP and they work well.

Well, there are possible reasons that it may not work out, so the only true answer is to try it for yourself. Download the free trial, see if it works, and, if it gives you an nTitles error, just look for a tutorial.

i pretty sure, about 98% that u can, Im using a Vista and it works fine, you just have 2 do a few things to get it working that take 5 minutes

Yes, it can. I run it in vista with no problems. None, natta, zip.

Just in case there are any problems, right clicking it and then choosing run as Admin will fix it.

As a general rule, yes it will. However, as recent help topics and my own experience have shown, some Vista machines just won't play RPG Maker XP. That's why I recommend a free trial, instead of going out and buying it first thing.
