I want to save ps2 games to a thumbrive

imagine, a 4GB USB thumbdrive, shoved in the usb slot, rather than the low capacity memory card in the front?

I've been looking online, I keep finding stuff on saving the ENTIRE games themselves to hard drives to pirate them. I just want to save the progress in the games I own! ;_;

(Backstory: I lost a "high-capacity" ps2 memory card a while ago, it would be nice to be able to back up my saves to computer while still being able to use the same thing I transfer them to my computer with to play on my system.)

any help much appreciated by me, and I'm sure many others will too. :yes:

After a long sprint of searching, I found little to no information on both of those apps.

uLauncher looked promising to me, I found what it does, and I found the application, but there was no explanation on how to use it, and to be blunt, I'm afraid to try new things blindly with my ps2. I don't want to break the old thing.

If you wanna do it the safest way possible do action replay...but nevertheless done of those methods Holloway said is going to break or wreck your console in any way.

Dude, just go to Best Buy and buy a USB MaxDrive for PS2. It contains all you need to do what you want to do.
