I need feedback on this sketch

Okay, I've sketched out my character in its entirety now. I've decided to go with a bandana anyways, since the hairstyle I posted a while back wasn't really practical.

But I need feedback, on the anatomy mainly. Does it look realistic? Personally I think the feet on the backside look weird but I just don't know how to fix it. It never looks good. Also the backside doesn't have hands yet because I'm having some trouble with them.

Oh yeah the armor is going to be adjusted a little still, but this is basically how it's going to look. Anything I need to change, or adjust?

I wouldn't say realistic but everything is in proportion, so that's good. Hands look good, the feet are fine.
I don't like the bumps for the knees and elbows. His eyes make him look goofy; like he's crossed eyed looking at his hair.

His crotch bugs me the most. But you can cover that up with pants.

Try working on the face. Mainly, facial proportions. I know you're not going for a realistic look but you have to get the basics down.

The biggest problem with the face is the eyes. They're too close together (a general rule of thumb is that the distance between the two eyes should be about the width of one eye) and the nose is very low. And kinda small too. If you're going for a kind of anime look then I'd advise against that, it's a very stylized look that tends to introduce bad habits to newer artists.

The "behind" pose has major problems with the feet. Why are they facing upwards? The only way they'd look like that would be if you were looking at him from above. The feet should be flat on the ground, otherwise the perspective gets all wonky.

That's pretty much the extent of my knowledge of anatomy but from what I can see the body proportions look alright. You have some issues with joints though, like coyotecraft mentioned, especially in the elbows and knees.

starting from the top working down.

not going into detail on the face as things have been mentioned, so moving further down

neck is too thick for his body

seems like youre better at drawing the shoulder thats on the right side of the drawing, but the line that goes from the shoulder to the base of the neck is too horizontal, theres really no muscle structure whatsoever, the arms too long on the top half, and the forearm is too short, elbows are way twisted looking, on the front view you shouldnt even be able to see them standing like that, and actually taking a second look the are are too long for his current torso but more on that when i get to the torso itself. hands are not bad, they could use some work, but all in all better than most people tend to draw them.

ok, on to the torso area, its too short. stand in front of the mirror and note where your elbow joint is in respect to your waist/beltline* (*if you wear your pants right that is, you know, pulled up, on your waist) if that were to be fixed the arms overall length would be ok aside from the upper/lower arm proportion issue.

legs are too thin, a bit too short, he has no hips, feet look like theyre too short, also perspective is off, to see the top that much you would need a higher viewpoint. its almost as if when you look at it from top to bottom you go from a slightly lower than eye level viewpoint to about a foot above his head by the time you hit the feet, and as has been mentioned, knees are quite knobby.

back view roundup, no hips/ass problem persists but its consistent with the front view which is a good thing, at least you can draw the same thing twice, other than the for mentioned feet issue, the back view is a more consistent viewpoint/perspective.

another note, in both back and fron view the arms come in front of the back and chest, if his arms overlap his chest then in the back view hit lats would overlap the inside of the arm slightly, same with the front if his arms are back, it makes his chest look very shallow and flat.

hope this helps and i didnt seem like a dick, just trying to help you improve

Thanks for the tips. Yeah that Chrono Cross resemblance was what I meant when I said adjustments. I want to step away from that, because I guess it's not hard to see Serge in there. I knew that would happen when I decided to go witth a bandana. The weird looking knobs on the elbows and knees are actually to indicate that they're not completely straight forward, but rather that they're turned outside a little. That's also why I decided with this kind of view for the feet.

well if you want to draw the arms turned out, you need to redraw the arm, because you have a front view of the arm with elbows on the side. study your arm in a mirror to get the muscle position correct, and also if theyre turned like you want, then his hand is in a very un-natural position, turn your arm out like youre going for then turn yout hand like its drawn, doesnt that feel like an odd position to have your arm in?
