I just got a DS Lite...

Today, my birthday present came in from Amazon.  I got a Nintendo DS Lite, Pokemon Diamond, and Harvest Moon DS.

I just have a few things to say:  The DS Lite ROCKS.  It's awesome, I love it.

Now that I have one, can you recomend games I should get?  I'm thinking about getting The World Ends With You, but I don't know anything about it, really.

So, throw some recomendations at me, please.

Yeah, Rune Factory can be summed up by Harvest Moon meets your typical JRPG, only it's fun and makes sense.

Not to mention addicting on levels that should be criminal.

be ready to buy hmds2, ffiv, meteos, pkmn perl, Ace attorney series, megaman zx zxa, ffiii, mario kart, brain age

Well you have Diamond, so you're halfway there! Get Pearl and you're all set.

And that's all you need, really. If you haven't played any of the Pokémon games from the third generation (or even if you have), get your hands on a used copy of emerald. My DS is permanently fixed with pearl in the top and emerald in the bottom.

I have a copy of Sapphire lying around somewhere...  what's your friend code?

I'm surprised no one has suggested Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. I have to say, when I heard about Zelda for the DS, I thought for sure it would suck. It actually turned out to be one of my favourite Zelda games! Definitely a buyer, along with other great games like Elite Beat Agents.

Well, I just got Elite Beat Agents new for 15 bucks...  I found a DS Lite "Starter Kit" (A case, and some styluses) that came with Elite Beat Agents...  it's fun as hell.

Wait for CTDS (ofcourse) and GTA: Chinatown Wars, dunno how good that game will be, but since it's GTA it should be decent at least.

Let's not forget Mario Kart DS. Hmm... *pulls out all ds games*
Lunar Knights - Was fun, hard at times, but fun.
Luminous Arc - Great game, very addicting very beautiful intro.
Children of Mana - Beautiful sprite work in this game, but can get tedious
Chocobo Tales - Damn I got addicted to the card system even if the story was a little childish.
LoZ: Phantom Hourglass - Amazing zelda title, it had me hooked from the beginning, only thing I hated was revisiting the temple.
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates - Good game even has some pretty addicting after gameplay.
FF12: Revenant Wings - If you love RTS, then you'll love this.
FFTA2:SG - Very good game, I have yet to beat mine, but I still pop it in from time to time... Great for long trips.
FF4DS - Great revamp, loved every minute of it and will definitely consider playing it again.
Metroid Prime: Hunters - This game is one of the few and only DS FPS games I like.

I have others, but these of my collection of about 20 DS games stand out. There are plenty more on the way to the DS I am sure I will play, but if you get a chance to buy these, they are good titles with excellent gameplay.

oh man did i forget to mention PW back there? what a huge DUMMYHEAD i am because if you only get three games for your DS get those. idk about apollo justice, but all of the phoenix wright games are E-X-C-E-L-L-E-N-T!

unless of course you dont like spectacular writing, loveable(and love-to-hate-able) characters, jawdropping plot twists, and immense satisfaction. thn dont bother with life either :thumb:

I've always wanted to play the PW games, but no one near my town sells them, and the nearest gamestop is 50+ miles away ><
