It's not much, but from what I can see, it's fine. Also, you should probably add more before asking, like, at least (the popular) one frame of a sprite.

Get the new and updated Cortez template. I believe the website's http://despain.slacked.org/ . Also, desaturate the pants, and maybe darken them a little.

Ok... let's see.
It's not bad, just looks too bright.
Shade is kinda wrong, brighter colors should be on the outside, not the inside. The sun doesn`t shine in your groin, shine in the hips or shoulders.
As told before, try to desature a little.

Hair is lacking shading, but looks good that way (kinda dreadlock looking-thingie hairstyle)

Here is a recolor i made in like 2 minutes. Hope you don't mind, just trying to show what i'm talking about.
About the outlining. The thing i like about cortez (though i dont like the new template, just the old one) is the black outlining. If you don't like black lines, just try to apply the darkest tone, otherwise it seems to blend away.

wow it looks way cleaner that way, and im not used to spriting anything megaman exe sprites so I im overall still not sure if I get it all, and I think I should take your advice as looking at your sig makes it seem right so, I will try.

P.S. the hair isnt dreads it kinda pulled back you'll see If I can figure out hair in sideview
