I drew....another half-zombie...?!

Doodling earlier, this is what I came up with. The hair is sloppy and inconsistent and the lighting is off in places, but I can't be assed to fix it, so whatever. I know the skin palette is kind of weird, but unfortunately I didn't really put a lot of forethought into it. I guess it kind of works with the theme or something. Well, anyway, critique? I probably won't be going back to change this, but it's cool to keep stuff in mind for future reference.

I don't like how the skin is changed from normal to zombie, though. It seems like it's a gradual change from skin-colour to the skull. It feels like the change should be more sudden, as if the skin from her face had been ripped or torn off. Sort of like this:

A little more contrast, maybe?

Anyway, I was going more for ashen dead skin than skull; the gory bits are supposed to be where skin is ripped off, not where stuff is still hanging on. But yeah, that's a good point. I'll definitely keep that in mind if I revisit this!

the bottom teeth are out of perspective on the left (her right) but i think in this case it actually works, like her jaw is cocked, really like the area around the rotting eye, and the hair on her right side, she is on the too pretty side to really look horrifying, but its nice work

Yeah, the teeth are supposed to be a little out of perspective. And it's supposed to be more unsettling than horrifying. :3 Thanks, anyway!
