I can't seem to get my events to move me along to another map.

Hi. I am new here and also relatively new to RPG Maker. (i am using it as my engine for my Thesis with collage) I have a series of maps set up, but i cant get the character to move onto the next map.

Basically what happens is i can get my character to move through the area that is the door but they wonder around dead space and do not move to the next scene.

Can anyone help? it would be greatly appreciated.

If I understand you correctly you need to make an event and use the transfer player tab at the top of page two, it's pretty self explanatory once you click the transfer player tab.
