How to make more actors?

I am new to to Rpg Maker xp and I have used the search function and have found nothing about this. I wanted to know if it is possible to make more than eight actors? I also wanted to know how to make a wait to say text until after their move route.

In the Database->Actors tab, there's a button called "Change Max" or something like that? Just increase the number to however many actors you want.

Also, if you want to wait for a move route to finish, you'll need a "Wait for Move's Completion" after the command. Note that if you have other events with custom move routes, though, it will wait until they finish too. If that's the case, you'll have to figure out how many frames it takes manually and use the regular "Wait" command.

But when i am at the actors tab I do not see to change max. I am thinking because of the size of my screen. I cannot increase my screen size so yeah.

It might not be the exact wording, but there's a button below all the list of actors. You say it might be the size of your screen; are you having problems with resolution or something?

Yeah I cannot see the bottom of the screen with the actors tab.I am losing sight of what is under the shield tab. Everything bellow the shields drop thingy then I cannot see it.

If you can't scroll down, you may want to adjust your monitor settings-- not being able to reach the bottom half of the screen will cause you problems, sooner or later.

Of course, you can always click-and-drag the database screen.

What's the current resolution on your computer? and What size is your monitor? You might have to go into the desktop properties and adjust your screen resolution under the 'Settings' tab.

Try dragging the bottom corner of the window to enlarge it, or double-click the blue title bar at the top.

That is deeply weird.  Are you using a legal copy?

My friend had this problem. So I checked it out, and it was because he was not using a legal copy. Yet, I don't see why, as before the legal English version, I remember having no such problem. If you are in fact using an illegal version, go buy RMXP and it should be fine. Otherwise you might want to stay with a low profile :P

But I did buy the legal one! Though it wasn't me buying it, my friend bought it for me!
