How to display Scripted Variables in a Message?

Hello, again. I thought I would be able to put a Scripted Variable into an in-Editor variable and display the string value in a message, but I think I was wrong.

So how can I show the value of a Global Variable in a regular message?

You could assign it to a $game_variable[variable_id] = $your_variable

Then just use the \v or whatever it is.

AH! That's what I tried to do before, but I (like a moron) tried to put in the value through the Change Variable event code...I feel so retarded! Thanks Seph.
