How to add a script

im new to this whole rmxp thing..how do i add a script? like a new battle system, or a new frame on a window or sumthin? i found some cool things, but dont know how to add them.

explain please.

For RPG Maker XP, you click Insert on Main in the script editor and paste it in the new line that's created.  For VX, you'd do the same, only above (Insert here) under Materials.
