I'm new to this forum but I'm not new to gamemaking. I've been working on the same game for about five years. I just recently made the move to xp and i'm not familiar with rgss at all. the tutorials help a little but what i hope to acomplish is a little lofty. I want to include a cbs with animated battlers( enemies and party alike) but, i'd like for the battlers to be able to move indepently, sort of like kingdom hearts:chain of memories. other party members besides the main character would be ai controlled, and the interface would be completely hotkey oriented. i.e. to use an item, press i to bring up the item menu. it would not be turn based at all, but more of a interupt system, where if you get hit with an attack while you're attacking, your attack is stopped. please someone help me get started. my ideas are about to burst out of my forehead, i want this so bad.
