How Do You Show Two Animations At Once?

Ok, so, for example I want to show "Cast Magic" and "EM Exclamtion" both at the same time, what do I do? I tried stacking them, as in putting one below the other in the event commands, and yet, only one plays. Do I have to do it myself in the Materialbase and make my own animation, or is there another way?

This is, unfortunately, the default behavior of the RPG::Sprite class--that is, only one animation per sprite can play at a time.
However, I am working on a workaround to this problem.  Please wait for a while.

EDIT:  Here's a script I wrote that works around your problem.  Put the code below in a new script section in the script editor, before the last one.

Code:

Now, after installing that script, use event commands like the one below to display two animations at once.

Code:
@>Show Animation: This event, [Cast Magic]
@>Wait: 1 frame(s)
@>Show Animation: This event, [EM Exclamation]
@>

Here, adding a wait is important because the data for the animation to play for an event is updated only once each frame, and two Show Animation event commands at once are run in the same frame.
