How do you make special Weapons with Blizzard ABS?

I've been using blizzard ABS for quite awhile.
I have played the demo of "The Chronicles of Sir Lag-a-Lot"
but I don't know how to make the Bow-type weapons or "Boomerang"
or "flails" etc etc. I just need some help on how to make these type
of weapons. Help me please...
