How can I get the continue cursor thing like the message boxes have? o___O

Can't seem to figure out how to do it o.O
I'm talking about the animated cursor thing at the bottom of message windows:

I'd like to be able to turn it on and off of a window for a script, but I have no idea how to call it O.o

Not sure I understand o.O
So if I have class Window_BattleText < Window_Base
what would I do? O.o

Add self.pause = true after declaring the Bitmap object.

Doesn't seem to be working o.O
checked it with 'p self.pause' and it comes back true O_o
