How Add Final Fantasy 4 Inventory?

Specifically, Final Fantasy 4 or 6 to Inventory. Because I need an inventory, right? And if I'm going to go ahead and script, might as well make it something I'm sort of familiar with? Please help point me in the right direction.

k i feel like a tool but just figured out how to open the inventory
and its already in FF4 format lol surprise surprise....

now just got to figure out how to get items from variables into ITEM box etc etc....
