Home Basic to Premium with Reinstall disk

On my desktop, I have Vista Home Premium, with a Dell Vista Reinstall Disk. I want to install Premium on my Visat Basic laptop, without losing files, programs, or misc. data (aside from sys32) using this Reinstall disk. Is there a ways to do this?

I know Vista has an upgrade option, but I don't know if it works with just XP or with Vista too...

I know that too, but it only includes the option for upgrading online.
I wnat to be able to upgrade using an reinstall disk

Nope. Can't be done. That disc has only the files necessary for a factory restore. Thus, no Home Premium files like Aero Glass and whatnot.
