HK-Anthro wolf

Lemme tell you that spriting fur is hard! At least for me it is. My goal here was to create an HK equivalent to Xp's goblin01 character.
I spent longer then usual for spriting just one frame, so I'm hoping it looks decent in the eyes of others. But I'm not that confident and know it'll probably need fine tunning. Mainly around his neck.

I was afraid to draw his belly hair, but I'm happy with how it turned out.

If I finish this I'll probably submit it to the HKCP, cause they could always use more material.

Very solid effort.  The only thing I might suggest is drawing some claws on the toes.  The shading is very nicely done, but the highlights on the knee area make the figure look a little knock-kneed [knees pointing inward].  Good luck finishing up the rest of the views.  This is an excellent start.

i like it but then again i dont... when i think of a werewolf i dont think of a wolf standing straight up. more and less hunched over and on its hindlegs. overall it looks great.

I feel the same way, I guess werewolf is a little misleading but I didn't know what else to call him.

Btw, I tested out clothes from the HKCP, while his fur stuck out on the shirts the pants fit perfectly!

What about Anthro?

I like it. I mean, you sprited it well. If I had to say something bad about I'd say that the chin, neck and shoulders look weird to me. Maybe shift his head down a few pixels to make the neck look a bit more non-existant. Still there but not as large, maybe. I also think that the shoulders are kind of flat.

Yeah, Anthro sounds right.
I think the shoulders look flat because it doesn't really have an outline on top like the rest of the body. I'll probably add more fur around is neck. Thicker/fluffier fur that is. That should fix that problem area.

I've also changed his feet from 3 toes to 4, it looked more realistic that way. You'll get to see it when I update.

This is pretty damn good. I tried to make something like this, but spriting fur was a challenge... so I just stuck to my tileset stuff. Once you actually make this guy, I'd be happy to make some accessories for him, though.

Small update: Fluffed out his neck, and changed the knee area. I redid his paws to look less cartoony.

I started shaping out his head for the side view. At first I started too big but I finally got a shape that looks right. The problem is that the noises don't line up. I didn't want to point his face down so I brought the noise on the front-view up.
I think he looks more Dog like now. The old one kinda looked like a raccoon.

Looks real cool in sideview too. I came to think of a thing. Wouldn't a werewolf have reversed knees like a dog?

I liked his nose tilted down better. Remember that these sprites are sort of being looked down upon, so you'd see more of his schnoz. Otherwise, I like the revision better.

You really need more depth to your palette though; especially on my somewhat dark monitors at work, it looks sorta like an outline with grey fill.
