Hmm, so the last...time I made a workshop I posted maybe one W.I.P and never touched it again. Only now I am a good year or two(maybe) older. My dreams and goals have molded far more seriously into shape. Now I no longer think the aspect of making a game is awesome. But wish to live it, and so in a way to make me more appealing to game companies after college. I wan't to be able to do it all. A big dream but I'll practice! =D Mind you of course programming will be my main study(Computer Science Degree P.

Anyway after a weird introduction! I present to you not one but two! W.I.P's I will probably never touch again at least in this thread. ;P j/k
Mind you I still suck. After the many different times I have pixeled. I am very much so an amateur. No real talent you could say, but that wont stop me D= they say enough work can defeat talent.

They are not exactly shaded...Merely because I can't seem to make a palette worth using...That and I can not get the hair exactly correct...So this is why I made the workshop. For my fellow pixel fans to give me advice. And help me mold the hair properly.

BTW <3 I love the two creators of those two templates.
Now the hair is supposed to look like this.

(not sure if it needs to be in a zoom seeing as its just references from a manga.)
I just can not get it to look correct on the pixels. Mind you, the character in and of itself is not that one. I just love the hair, and its alot like mine =D only mine is shorter haha.

P: Started working on a different character that I started some time ago. Merely because I can not get the other's hair right. D=

By any chance you have a palette set for the first character?

D= Sadly not, I dont even know what his clothing will be like in the end. Only that his hair is like that and is brown but umm, the closest I have is the scrappy looking guys hair from chrono trigger dark age sprite sheet. http://spriters-resource.com/snes/chron ... esnpcs.png

I wouldn't get discouraged about the first guy's hair that quickly. In a bigger image fretting over the shape before you add too many details is ideal, but with pixel art, everything's so tiny it gets a lot of definition from the shading itself. I'm liking the overall shape though, were the smaller sprites derived from Chrono Trigger characters?

@Moe D= I know but III wan't it to be awesome noowwww /endwhinyrant.
I believe so the base is the Paradigm template. And it gives that feel off doesn't it. But Chrono Trigger is my bases for most colors etc.

o_O Eeek, I have been super busy with work and Minecraft!!!! I'll have something up over the next couple days i promise <3.

So as promised here is an update!(not like I am that super amazing but)

So i have decided to start up a mmo java engine project(slow give me like 5 yrs xP)

To start I wanted to make pixels for it.



The base is macks, and yeah just C&C must sleep

*edit* guess the image working properly would help.
