Hero's name question

Hi,
  I have a question regarding rpgmaker xp. Say the player give the hero a custom name (I am using events for this, not scripting), I want to show the custom name in my menu which is made up of pictures. Or a picture message box which is in fact a png picture and i want to show the custom name inside the picture. Is this possible to do it with events?

Well, if you have the actual name compressed into the picture file, you'd have to make one with every single possibility; which is ranging around 2,821,109,907,456 (that including a-z, 0-9, without spaces) possibilities, and use extensive conditional branches for every single combination.

What you could try is having the actual drawn actor_name bit overlap the image.

I was gonna say lol, with regular event commands it'd be hard, if not impossible, but you could use the call script command to draw an invisible window with text in it
