Heroes

I must live in a bubble or something but I saw Heroes for the first time yesterday because the scifi channel was playing a marathon. And I've got to say that I'm hooked! I noticed some similarities to The 4400 but it definitely has its own look and feel about it.

So for those of you who watch Heroes, who's your favorite character?

My personal fave is Hiro. His bubbly personality and naivete are refreshing and add a certain comic relief. I love watching the interplay between Hiro and Ando.

Spoiler: Something doesn't add up

Okay, they keep going on about how they're trying to save the world and the people that they love. But in one of the much later episodes when Hiro travels to the future, almost all the main characters are still alive. And I'm sorry, but New York does not constitute the whole world. But I guess "save the cheerleader, save the world" sounds better than "save the cheerleader, save New York."

Now, I've heard that Heroes has been picked up for a second season. What sort of villain do you think would be more powerful than Sylar?

I think that the next villan is the person mentioned breifly in the finale. The one that Molley (The little girl that can locate people by thinking about them) said she couldn't locate because he would find her or something. But it wasn't reveiled who that is.

The bomb has to do with all the evolved humans being hunted and discriminated against.

Didn't you notice Sylar as President? I believe he planned to kill any evolved humans, since he believed he had all the powers he needed.

Am I the only who was pissed off at the final fight between Sylar and Peter? It was pathetic. At least we see Hiro in the past, I'm interested if he's related to Kensei.

Spoiler: About finale

I was completely let down. There was all this build up and then it seemed as though the last few scenes were just thrown together. I mean, the fighting between Claude and Peter (when Claude was training him) were better played out than the last one between Sylar and Peter. Also, I thought they would make it a little more difficult for Hiro to stab Sylar. He just appeared and stabbed him. I guess my biggest let down was that there was no struggle to speak of.

Another thing, why was Claire sobbing when Peter wanted her to shoot him? It's not as though he would have died.

I didn't understand that either, but I'm guessing Peter would have to stay dead, perhaps if Claire removed the bullet, and Peter woke up, he would immediately explode. I'm not too sure about this though.

No, future Hiro died, if the bomb was prevented all together, the world would be set on a different course, and Hiro may never become a 'terrorist.' So the skilled Hiro in the future would exist in a different scenario.

Like most people in the USA, I've finished the first season. I believe all the episodes are on NBC.com if anyone wants to catch up.

I tried that, won't let me view the first ones, so I downloaded them.
My brother will be getting the DVD soon, so I won't have to worry that much about it.

I did however, see the first episode, not much, but yeah. It was a pretty good one, and I think that this will come to be one of my favourite shows, to go with Lost and the like.

Can't wait to see more, don't spoil it for me :P

Peter has to be the best character, but then again I only like him for his power.

Also I was rather amazed when I saw Hiro Father with a sword, that was awesome.

Also I gots 1 episode left of seson one.

I'm guessing Matt Parkman, though I feel bad for him. He's the underdog.
