So the Charas Updater just destroyed a year and a half's worth of work by overwriting/restoring all of my project files to the state they were at back in November of 2008. Thankfully the project I have is on SVN revision so I only lost a month's worth of work in the end. It provided me an interesting conundrum however:
The map files that I have still exist. Is there any way for me to get the project to recognize that those maps exist or import them into the database manually? I do not believe there is a way to do that but if someone could provide me a way to do so, I'd be very appreciative. I'm not quite sure that everything was fully restored as the SVN saw nothing wrong with the year-and-a-half out-of-date files and would like an alternative if one exists.
Really, if there's any way that I can even just load the maps to copy the data back into the project, that would be fantastic. Clipboarding is perfectly fine.
If I could edit MapInfos.rxdata without breaking everything, that would be perfect. I bet it'd require more than just editing that one file to re-reference them however.
