Help! They won't go away!

Ran spybot the other day and found these....and, even after running the fix option with spybot, after restarting they're still there....anyone know what to do? These are what they are...

Advertising.com
-Tracking cookie (FireFox: default)
Firefox: (default): .advertising.com/ (F1)
-Tracking cookie (FireFox: default)
Firefox: (default): .advertising.com/ (BASE)
-Tracking cookie (FireFox: default)
Firefox: (default): .advertising.com/ (ACID)

Edit: I have windows XP
DoubleClick
-Tracking cookie (FireFox: default)
Firefox: (default): .doubleclick.net/ (test_cookie)

-_- my worthless Norton scanner can't even find em, spybot can't remove em....ya. Anyone know what to do?

:-/ With firefox thats "clear private data" right? I tried, but I don't think it worked....I'll try again....anyone else have any advice?

Click on the privacy Icon under Options, and then click the cookie tab. Then Clear all Cookies.

If that dosen't work, I dunno

ya, thats what I did. No go. -.- On top of that, ran another scan, and found MORE crap. Spyhunter and Avenue...something. Just my bloody luck...

then you need to run something called Ad-aware (by lavasoft...find the DL at download.com) run it to update fully, restart your computer disconnected from the internet and try that. It's best to run 2, sometimes 3 diff progs when it comes to spyware and adware things

Well, Spyhunter I was able to manual remove (add/remove programs+removing the enigma folder from the registry) but I can't get rid of the Avenue A Inc, Doubleclick, and Mediaplex. -.- theres probably more of the bloody things that I can't find....dled ad aware and am runnin' it now....*sigh*....

Edit: Ad aware didn't find anything with a full system scan...

Edit Edit: I think i figured out the problem. Somehow the tracking cookies managed to get themselves into firefoxes default registry....removing the registries/uninstalling firefox seems to have fixed it for now...tho i'm not sure. I'm tired, and its late, so i'm not going to look into it till tommorow (late afternoon...i've got work...)

But if anyone has any idea as to how to fix this, please say so, seeing as i'm not sure i fixed it.

Just woke up this morning, scanned with Spybot/adaware, and found nothing.

Reinstalled Firefox, installed the site advisor and....bam. All three are back.

-.- any help?

I don't know how many times I've told people to download this trial from the Iolo Technologies website to get rid of their computer problems. Jstreet did it a while back and loved the program so much, he bought it right after the download.

System Mechanic 6 Professional

It removes PC parasites, adaware, spyware and other malicious things that happen to find their way on your computer. It also will remove damaged system registry files and attempt to repair them, eliminates cookies (damaged or not)...ect...it pretty much does everything these multiple programs everyone seems to like downloading. EVERYTHING.

http://www.iolo.com/sm/6pro/download.cfm

For virus check, install Kaspersky Antivirus that comes with System Mechanic 6 Professional. Make sure the virus database is updated and you have your settings set to maximum protection before scanning for the system for viruses. This way it keeps the viruses out, repels network attacks coming to your computer...ect...

Download it and use it.

hmmm...its odd, but it seems the cookies were part of the site advisor download. I suppose this is why they were in the modzilla registeries....pretty much no Site Advisor=no tracking cookies....hmm..

Oh well. Thanks for the advice everyone. I'll refer to this if something similar occurs.

Edit: Nevermind, false alarm. It looks like Myonosken was right. After a bit of experimenting, it turns out those were the saved passwords I forgot to clear. <_<;; *feels stupid*
