Help Please If Possible.....

I was curious if anyone knew of or knew how to create a script for a mini game I would like to incorporate into my game. What it involves: Whether it be animals or monsters. What I want is for the mini game to be activated: Then when you "engage" the animal event or monster event and push the specified button an attack happens. Also if the attack being the right one is done...the animal or monster dissappears. If not, damage and what not is taken by the character. Also for the special attack or "heavy hit" to have it drain SP, or MP whatever it may be called.
Is this out there already? Is it plausible? Or am I condemned to going about it the old fashioned way and creating like 100 events.

Are you talking about a Rock, Paper & Scissors system? It sounds very feasible.

You'll most likely want to create a new scene with many similarities to the Scene_Battle. You'll also need to utilize a Command_Window. In the main update of the class. Wait until the user has made his/her selection. Based on input from that window display action/animation. Randomly decide an action for animal. Based on both the user's selection and the animal's selection decide outcome. If user did not make the selection required to defeat the animal repeat the process. That was roughly the basics behind it.
