Help! Chinese RMXP screwed me over! [Resolved]

I don't know if this is the right place to ask this, but I accidentally downloaded a Chinese version of rmxp in order to play a chinese game for it, but its version of the rgss-rtp standard overwrote the original, and now my computer won't let me uninstall it. I tried seeing if the regular version that comes with the setupmenu would overwrite it again, but it won't. It keeps telling me to uninstall the current one, which I can't do. I can't even find the folder where it's located.

Any help? I was in the middle of a big project, and it sucks that I can't use rmxp anymore!

Question... Why would the RTP matter... Aren't they the same graphics with different names?

Run the chinese installer. It should give you the option to repair or remove currently installed RTP - choose to remove.

Mostly because his computer probably doesn't support Chinese characters. That's also going to be the reason you're having trouble uninstalling it.

Never mind, I managed to fix it. Apparently, my lack of Chinese knowledge was making me select the wrong options for uninstallation. It's finally gone.

I never knew there was a Chinese RMXP version XD.

But I thought Japanese people should be able to recognize Chinese words because they have some similarity...

Please help, I'm having this problem too. Whenever I try to uninstall the RTP a error comes up in what looks like Japanese. I don't even have the RTP on my computer and yet I still can't uninstall it. I've tried reinstalling but then errors come up saying I have the RGSS-RTP on my computer already. Please HELP!
