Hello, World!

Hello there, HBGames! I'm new to the site, myself, but have always had a mild interest in creating my own video game.
I am a college sophomore majoring in digital media design, where I focus mostly on television production, film, photography, graphic design (not game graphic design; logo, website, signs, that style of design).
I produce at my college a news program as well as a gameshow, and work on several other shows, and also serve as the promotions director of our radio station, of which I have been a DJ personality for 2 years now. I also have a pyrotechnic license in the state of Ohio, where I work with a fireworks company to put on those big, professional 4th of July shows.
I have been messing with RPG maker programs since highschool, but never really actually finished a game, or really got anywhere close to it. I'd like to eventually make one, and hopefully my time here will be well spent!
Anyway, I am glad to be a part of the community, and can't wait to talk to everyone!

Hahaha, my interest in music applies to all of that. I've been a college dj for two years now, and have a extensive collection of music crossing many genres, and I am also a drummer. Band in highschool, as well as a few jazz ensembles and some failed rockbands, haha.
And either crunchy or creamy is fine with me, but not extra crunchy.

I hold the Louie Armstrong Jazz Award(which really doesn't mean TO MUCH but it means a lo to me) for jazz drum kit playing, I played snare, bass, and timpani in symphonic band in highschool, and played quads as drum captain in my highschool's marching band as well. I'm working on getting back into music in college, I'm just trying to find the time with my media major.

Ah, awesome man. I played timpani for most of my symphonic band stuff in hs, and was on the pit (mallets and crap) for 2 or 3 years and was forced to march snare my last year D:

As for music in college, take percussion ensemble, its always a great class to get you back into the groove. Avoid college marching band though imo.

Quads are fun too, I did indoor percussion on a 6 pack (it killed my back) :<

Yeah, they are a pain on the ol' back....
Unfortunately at my University, music classes are worth....1 to no credits, so most people who don't major in music can only do it their free time. I'd love to get into another ensemble, or another band....just gotta have the time. I got back for radio stuff on Thursday....no more free time after that haha.
